Welcome to my studio in Toronto at 401 Richmond. My paintings begin with an idea, a feeling or sometimes a strange image that won't leave me alone. I work primarily in oil, creating surreal colourful worlds filled with unexpected characters and details.

I have never been able to close my eyes without seeing pictures and details of new things to make. To me, art has always been an interesting science, and to me the images floating around in my head are substance enough to fuel the raw life of a painter.
